Implants
How Much Do Dental Implants Cost in Winter Haven?
If you've been told you need an implant — or you've been living with a missing tooth and wondering about your options — the first question is almost always the same: what is this going to cost me?
It's a fair question, and you deserve a straight answer. Here's how implant pricing actually works.
What you're actually paying for
A "dental implant" isn't one thing — it's three:
- The implant itself — a small titanium post placed in the jawbone. This is the part that replaces your tooth's root.
- The abutment — the connector that links the implant to the visible tooth.
- The crown — the natural-looking tooth you actually see and chew with.
Each piece has its own cost, which is why quotes that only mention "the implant" can be misleading. Always ask whether a price covers all three — plus the exam, 3D imaging, and any extractions or bone grafting your case needs.
What implants typically cost
Nationally, a single complete implant (post, abutment, and crown) generally runs $3,000 to $5,000. Cases that need extractions, bone grafting, or sinus work cost more; replacing several teeth with an implant-supported bridge or restoring a full arch is a bigger investment that we price case by case — after we've actually looked at your mouth, not before.
Beware of ads promising implants at prices that sound too good to be true. They usually are: the fine print covers only the post, with the abutment, crown, and imaging billed separately.
Why implants are worth it
A well-placed implant is the closest thing dentistry has to growing a new tooth. Unlike a bridge, it doesn't require grinding down healthy neighboring teeth. Unlike a removable denture, it doesn't slip, and it keeps the jawbone from shrinking where the tooth was lost. With good care, implants routinely last decades — which often makes them the least expensive option per year of use.
How patients make it affordable
At Kians Dental Studio, we work with most major dental insurance plans, and many now cover part of implant treatment. For the remainder — or if you're uninsured — we accept CareCredit financing, which breaks treatment into monthly payments, and our in-house Wellness Plan helps with the exams and cleanings that protect your investment.
